Marketing Tools

Well it has been a while. I joined the John 3:16 Marketing Network and am trying to adjust to it. I get easily overwhelmed trying to take in all the info but I know it will help me market my books. But I also want to help others so here is an interview with one of the authors on our network,Tracy Krauss. http://www.barbaraannderksen.com/?p=1271

I hope to be interviewed this year when my book comes out. It is to be in my hands in August. Remember to check out my website at www.hiswriter.com. You'll find reviews and links on that site for my book The Resolution of Red Tears.

I'll write more later and I hope to put more links up to introduce you to other Christian authors.

So what's your next step? Go to www.hiswriter.com.

I also lowered the price of The Resolution of Red Tears on Kindle. Check out my author page too. Thanks!

Writing Like the Wind!

I finished my second book at the end of January It's called For God and Country. It's about an Army Special Ops "Triple Threat" officer who struggles with God when his son, Brian, who wants to be like his dad dies in a car crash before entering his military service. On top of that, he is asked to take on his most dangerous assignment of his 30 year career just months before his retirement. Will he let God heal him and take the assignment for God and country?

My first Novel, The Resolution of Red Tears has just started production with Tate Publishers. If anyone is interested in advertising in the back pages of my book, e-mail me and we'll talk. There is a standard fee but it is for the life of the book. So years of advertising all over the nation and world for a one time payment is pretty good in my book. Ha! No pun intended! I need the actual advert before 28 Feb!

You can still go to www.hiskingdomassociates to order The Resolution of Red Tears in print form which I will have in August or order it on Amazon. I will have For God and Country up on Amazon as soon as it is proofed and corrected and I have permission to use the cover image I want. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks!

To Hate Love

I have failed in my daily blogging. Like I said a long time ago in my blog. I want something good to say but I don't want to blog just to blog.

So I read a passage from Staci Eldridge's book "Captivating"  and I wonder how people can be so blind to the enemy's schemes. Then I stop wondering. The answer is simple. It is called Godlessness. Choose the dark side and go blind spirit, mind, soul. Sounds simple doesn't it? Look what happened during Christmas; all the riots and violence over things that turn to dust. Things that turn to dust that people think will boost their egos, their standing in school, boost their cool factor. All the while they are acting like criminals to get "it". No one know what Christmas is really about because there are those out there whose goal it is for us to forget and if we speak out, they slam us with their own vicious hearts.

It all started with Eve. The devil's attack on Eve. He hates us. He hates life, he hates love. Now that's a doozy of a thought. The hatred of Love. Let's see what Staci says. Afterward, think of what Islam teaches.

A Special Hatred
The assault on femininity-its long history, its utter viciousness-cannot be understood apart from the spiritual forces of evil we are warned against in the Scriptures. This is not to say that men (and women, for they, too, assault women) have no accountability in their treatment of women. Not at all. It is simply to say that no explanation for the assault upon Eve and her daughters is sufficient unless it opens our eyes to the Prince of Darkness and his special hatred of femininity.

Turn your attention again to the events that took place in the Garden of Eden. Notice-who does the Evil One go after? Who does Satan single out for his move against the human race? He could have chosen Adam . . . but he didn't. Satan went after Eve. He set his sights on
her. Have you ever wondered why? It might have been that he, like any predator, chose what he believed to be the weaker of the two. There is some truth to that. He is utterly ruthless. But we believe there is more. Why does Satan make Eve the focus of his assault on humanity?

Because she is captivating, uniquely glorious, and he cannot be. She is the incarnation of the Beauty of God. More than anything else in all creation, she embodies the glory of God. She allures the world to God. He hates it with a jealousy we can only imagine.

And there is more. The Evil One also hates Eve because she gives life. Women give birth, not men. Women nourish life. And they also bring life into the world soulfully, relationally, spiritually-in everything they touch. Satan is a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44). He brings death. His is a kingdom of death. And thus Eve is his greatest human threat, for she brings life. She is a lifesaver and a lifegiver.
Eve means "life" or "life-producer."

Put those two things together-that Eve incarnates the Beauty of God
and she gives life to the world. His bitter heart cannot bear it. He assaults her with a special hatred. Do you begin to see it?

The Pain of Waiting

Please remember to stop by my website www.hiskingdomassociates.com and see my book video and pre-order the book. It should be in my hands by August 2012, bookstores October. Thanks!

I've been reading a great book "Pain Perplexity and Promotion a prophetic interpretation of the Book of Job" by Bob Sorge.

I needed to read it. It's been in my possession for about a year, borrowed from a dear friend and mentor and then I thought I should return it last week when my emotions tanked!

I talked to my friend about healing and she read from a Theology book she's studying from for licensing with Foursquare. All the possible reasons for disease, sin, physical imbalances, demon attack or just because we're righteous. This reminded me of "Pain Perplexity and Promotion". So I picked it up and devoured half of the book. I'm not done with the book but I have peace and have reached a conclusion and a determination.

I am in the Job crucible.
I, like Job hold to my integrity.
I have done nothing wrong to deserve the 25 years of nonstop pain and fatigue and finacial lows I'm experiencing.
I cannot explain God to anyone, even myself. He IS and that's all there is to it. All I know is that He is genuinely LOVE. A love we will never understand but must trust. All He does is for our good, for His glory, our character growth and the salvation of others. I am to fill up what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ. Christ's sufferings didn't mean we wouldn't have to. He was our example. He took care of the meaning behind it all, to destroy sin and reconcile us back to God. Now, we are ministers of reconciliation and we will suffer for it, at God's hand or man's.

God has a plan for me to transform the world through the entertainment industry. I have no clue how He will do it. I just know He will. I have to wait in the crucible through all the hard service until it is my time for healing. When I get the manifestation of my healing is not my business. But it's appearing will be glorious and many will see and fear the Lord. if that's what this is all about, then I will wait and go through it because I know God is good, "I know my redeemer lives and in the end I will see Him, in the flesh on this earth I will see God." (Job 19: 25-27)

So I won't go forward for healing because others need to see my faith and that I'm contending for my healing. I will go forward when Jesus tells me. I know where I stand with the Lord. I have a purpose and a hope!

I highly recommend this book to everyone who feels like they live in Hell and their suffering has no purpose.

We All Must Forgive

I have really been thinking about my friend's recent break up with me. I do know she is a wounded soul but she said it was her soul she searched, not her heart in making the decision to end our friendship. The reason is still not clear to me but I know she was offended by something on Face Book. It still hurts and I say to the Lord daily, Bless her Lord and I forgive her. I am struggling with exactly what Staci Eldridge is saying in this excerpt from her book, Captivating.

I still find I love her and care for her. I want to tell her I have never judged her and never will and am waiting eagerly for her return but will she just delete the e-mail or return the letter? Shall I try anyway? It is in God's hands and I'm praying for her. Please pray for her with me. You can always click on the title at the bottom and it should take you to their website. Here's the excerpt:

Forgive
We must forgive those who hurt us. The reason is simple: Bitterness and unforgiveness are claws that set their hooks deep in our hearts; they are chains that keep us held captive to the wounds and the messages of those wounds. Until you forgive, you remain their prisoner. Paul warns us that unforgiveness and bitterness can wreck our lives and the lives of others (Eph. 4:31; Heb. 12:15). We have to let them go.

Forgive as Christ has forgiven you. (Col 3:13)

Now - listen carefully. Forgiveness is a
choice. It is not a feeling - don't try and feel forgiving. It is an act of the will. "Don't wait to forgive until you feel like forgiving," wrote Neil Anderson. "You will never get there. Feelings take time to heal after the choice to forgive is made . . ." We allow God to bring the hurt up from our past, for "if your forgiveness doesn't visit the emotional core of your life, it will be incomplete." We acknowledge that it hurt, that it mattered, and we choose to extend forgiveness to our father, our mother, those who hurt us. This is not saying, "It didn't really matter"; it is not saying, "I probably deserved part of it anyway." Forgiveness says, "It was wrong. Very wrong. It mattered, hurt me deeply. And I release you. I give you to God."

It might help to remember that those who hurt you were also deeply wounded themselves. They were broken hearts, broken when they were young, and they fell captive to the Enemy. They were in fact pawns in his hands. This doesn't absolve them of the choices they made, the things they did. It just helps us to let them go - to realize that they were shattered souls themselves, used by our true Enemy in his war against femininity.

Writing

As I try to focus on my current book, "For God and Country", I tend to get stuck at points. I think the Lord gave me a way of escape today. I was wondering how my lead character needed to take over a terrorist's identity so he could do his mission and help protect Israel and America from the top creep in Iran. I didn't just want to assassinate the guy (my own creation) because the military just doesn't do that but also because my hero has Godly morals and also doesn't just want to kill the guy. He'll have to get the head terrorist who hates Israel because he's an active terrorist breathing death threats down Israel's and America's necks he has declared war essentially so he's got a big target on his chest. But the other guy who my character has to impersonate is a little different.
My mind keeps getting concerned with the Israel issue, is there enough in the story? etc. So what does the Lord do? He gives me a whole new book idea to cover Israel. These issues are current so I can't help but figure, that's the next title I'll be working on if not in tandem with this one.
My other concern is, while The Resolution of Red Tears is now with a publisher, the production process is long! It actually goes into production in February but it will be October before I ever see a copy! I hate to think it will take so long for each book. I guess I need to ask them if they can do more than one of my books at a time. Sales will tell.
Pray the process takes less time, that they are expedient and thorough.

Is anyone wondering what the new book the Lord gave me is about?

A liberal new anchor who always gives false reports about Israel is sent to Israel to see how 'bad' they really are. Well he see the truth first hand and discovers the Liberal media's true agenda for Israel. He has a choice, keep his precious career and report what he wants and his network wants or walk in God's truth.
I won't gain fans with this one but my fan base is not the point. God's truth is the point!

The Blind lead the Blind

There are none so blind as those who will not see. Can we see what's going on in America today or are we sticking our heads in the sand? God will find us!
